May 21st at Delta Ridge RV Park in Forest City, AR. (no photos)
We arrived in Moscow Mills, MO on May 22nd and stayed a week at Sunrise RV Park. Good place, close to the St Louis area. This was our first family visit. W’s niece and family live in this area.
On May 27th we traveled to Higginsville to visit with my Mom. It was about a three and one half hour drive and we had a really good time with Mom.
Our week stay in the St Louis area included a one day trip to Higginsville to visit with my Mom. We had a wonderful time with W’s sister and her family. The triplet's graduation was the highlight of our stay.May 29th found us on the road to Taylorville State Park just south of Louisville, KY.
Our visit with my sister and her family was great. Her daughter, granddaughter and grandson from Alaska were visiting at the same time. That certainly made our visit a lasting memory.
We explored the area including the Kentucky Derby Museum and Bardstown Distillery.
June 5th we arrived at Pioneer Village Campground in Max Meadows, VA.
After our arrival my computer decided have a fit. We found a Best Buy about 30 miles north. They sent the computer to their repair center. It would be at least a week for it to be returned.
Fortunately, we had planned a trip without the rig for that week We traveled a loop to visit with my niece in Charlotte, NC and my sister in Charleston, SC (wonderful fishing trip in Charleston Bay).
Then on to Woodstock, GA to spend some time with my daughter. While in the Atlanta area we had the opportunity to see Stone Mountain. The carving depicts figures of the Confederate States of America: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis
We also spent some time at Amicalola Falls near Atlanta.

On June 15th we were back in Max Meadows waiting for my disabled computer to return from the repair center to pick it back up at the Best Buy. Hopefully, repaired. (Not so, but usable.) We picked up the computer on June 19 and I spent several days re-installing programs and replacing information from my backups. We attended a great performance of Show Boat at the Dinner Theater in Wytheville, VA.
On with our journey (see next post)
